As you aware above 60% Synopsis had been rejected since last 3 year. from which maximum due to not follow proper guidelines as per ignou curriculum. If you keep this point in your mind yours synopsis will approve.
IMPORTANT POINTS WHILE PREPARING THE PROJECT PROPOSAL
1. Kindly mention on the
top of the envelope “MCA Project Proposal (CS-17)” and should be
addressed to the Project Coordinator (MCA), School of Computer and Information
Sciences (SOCIS), IGNOU, Maidan garhi, New Delhi - 110 068.
2.
Ensure
the inclusion of the following items while submitting the proposal:
·
Proforma
for Approval of Project Proposal, duly filled and signed by both the student
and the guide with date
· Bio-data of the guide with signature and date
· Synopsis of the Project proposal
(10-12 pages)
· A self addressed envelope with duly affixed postage
stamps affixed on it.
3. All
entries of the proforma of approval should be filled up with appropriate and
complete information. Incomplete proforma of approval in any respect will be
summarily rejected.
4. A photocopy of the
complete Project Proposal (along with proforma, bio data of the guide) should
be retained by the student.
5. The
evaluated project proposal proforma along with the details of
Approved/Disapproved will be sent to the student within 4 or 6 weeks after the
proposal is received at SOCIS. In
case if it is disapproved, the suggestions for reformulating the project will
be communicated to the student. Revised project proposal proforma and synopsis
should be sent along with the original copy of the earlier received to the
Project Coordinator (MCA), School of Computer and Information Sciences (SOCIS),
IGNOU, Maidangarhi, New Delhi –110068.
6. The project is a part
of your final year (5th and 6th semesters)
curriculum. You
receive these guidelines in advance so that you may take appropriate steps to
submit your project proposal by the due date.
7. In case students
require any letter from the University for doing a project in any organization,
they can get a “Project Trainee” letter attached with this document attested by
the Project Coordinator / Study Centre Coordinator / Regional Director / Asst.
Regional Director.
8. At any given point of time, a guide should not provide
guidance for more than 5 MCA students of IGNOU.
