1. What are the Guidelines
for project t in O-A-B-C level?
Guidelines for O level
Project
A candidate is expected
to carry out a project successfully and submit a certificate as per the
format attached, from the
institute (where the candidate has undergone
the accredited O level course) or employer (if the candidate has appeared
as a direct candidate).
Guidelines for A level
project
The project may be started after
successful completion of five papers of A level and may be submitted when
the
candidate appears for the examination for the
last paper(s) of A level . The project is to be submitted to the Society
with documentation and fees.
The project should have been carried out , during
the course , over a duration of three months (full time) or six months
(part time). Every candidate should do a project
individually and no grouping is allowed.
The project will be carried out , under the guidance
of the institute if he/she is through the institute conducting an
accredited course. The direct candidate, in any
case,will be doing a project in an organization. In that case he/she
will carry out the project under the guidance
of experts/professionals.
The project report should be submitted covering
the aspects specified in the PROJECT PROFILE.
Reports in fulfilment of any other examination/context
will not be entertained.
The project report should have a certificate
as per the proforma attached , by the candidate and one of the following
:-
- the institute where the candidate is undergoing an accredited
course or
- the expert-guide in the case of a direct candidate.
The project report with due endorsement
in the form of a certificate will be submitted together with DD for Rs.350/-
(Rupees Three Hundered and Fifty Only ) favouring
"DOEACC",payable at New Delhi, to the Society.
The Society will arrange for viva voce of candidate
relating to the project.
Guidelines for B level Project
There are two projects at `B
level. The first project may be started after successful completion of
any five papers
out of the first ten papers of B level and
may be submitted when the candidate appears for the examination for the
last paper(s) of the first ten papers of B
level.
B level First project
The project should have been carried out,
during the course, over a duration of three months(full time) or six months
(part time). Every candidate should do
a project individually and no grouping is allowed.
The project will be carried out , under the guidance
of the institute if he/she is through the institute conducting an
accredited course. The direct candidate,
in any case,will be doing a project in an organization. In that case he/she
will carry out the project under the guidance

B level Final Project
Elegibility: The candidate could
be from an institute conducting the accredited course or may be a direct
entry
candidate.The project is to be selected by the
student reflecting knowledge gained by him/her during the course of
study.The subject will be chosen by the student
duly approved by a Supervisor/Guide.
Supervisor/Guide : A Supervisor/Guide
should be a person of eminence in the area in which the student has chosen
the project. In the case of a candidate from
an institute conducting the accredited course,all help including the nomination
of the Supervisor/Guide will be rendered by the
institute cocerned. In the case of a direct candidate, the candidate should
ensure that the facilities are available in the
organisation (where the project is taken up) and also the same are extended
to
them . All B level candidate are required to
get the synopsis of the project and the brief bio-data of the Supervisor
/Guideapproved from the Society. The synopsis
should clearly mention the scope of the project. The project is to
be taken up only after obtaining the approval
of the society.
Topic of the project : Should enable bringing
out the topics learnt and should be related to applications in the industry
/field in real life.
Methodology : Candidate should undertake
a project work involving use of software engineering methodologies,
tools and techniques.
Format : As attached
Credits : Projects would be of approximately
500 man-hours (including viva-voce) and so certified by the Supervisor
/Guide and be presented in the form in
consonance with the documentation format. The project will also include
a viva
voce examination. Project carries a total
of 300 marks. 80% of the marks is earmarked for the project evaluation
and
20%for the viva-voce.To qualify for a pass,
a candidate must obtain at least 50% in each of project evaluation and
viva-voce. Exact location of the viva-
voce will be intimated by the examiner designated.
Time for submission : Project may
be submitted when the candidate appears for the last paper in the 5th
semester or
before the end of the 6th semester.
The project is to be submitted along with the following:
Hard copy documentation.
- A copy of the project on magnetic media (preferably on either 1.2
MB floppy disk(s) or 1.44 MB floppy disk(s))
- A demand draft in favour of "DOEACC" for an amount of Rs.3000/- (Rupees
Three Thousand Only),payable in any nationalized bank in New Delhi.
Although the commencement
of the project is left to the candidate/institute, to enable a candidate
to have the benefit
of time it will be advisable to start
it only when the Supervisor gives his concurrence and the candidate has
acquired an
understanding of related topics
Authenticity : Shall be original,
of real life value, and not copies from existing material from any source
and a certificate
to the effect will be provided with the
Project, duly countersigned by the Supervisor/Guide.
Guidelines
for C level Project
Purpose : At this academic
level,the Project is of some great singnificance in the testing of a candidates
virtuosity in
Information Technology and judging his ability
to independently take charge of Project/System Development.
Eligibility : The candidate could be from an
accredited institute or may be a direct entry candidate. The project is
to be
selected by the student reflecting knowledge
gained by him during the course of study. The subject will be chosen by
the
student duly approved by a Supervisor.
Supervisor / Guide: A Supervisor should
be a person of eminence in the area in which the student has chosen the
Project. In the case of a candidate from
an accredited institute, all help including the nomination of the Supervisor
will be rendered by the Institute concerned.
For direct entry candidates, the approval of the project and the
Supervisior will be sought from DOEACC Society
furnishing the details of the Project and the biodata of the
Supervisor. In candidate the case of a from an
accredited institute, the details of the Project and the name of
Supervisior (with his biodata in also be
brief) will forwarded to the DOEACC Society will in advance, for approval.
Topic of the Project : Should enable bringing
out the topics learnt and should be related to applicantions in the
industry/field in real life.
Methodology : Candidate should undertake
a Project work involving use of software engineering methodologies,
tools andtechniques.
Format : As attached

approximately 135 man-hours and so certified by the Supervisor and be
presented in the form in consonance with
the documentation format attached. The Project will also include a
Viva-Voce examination. Both Project Evaluation
and Viva-Voce will be conducted by the examiner designated by
DOEACC Society.
Time for Submission : Project may
be submitted when the Candidates appear for the last paper in 5th
semester
of before the end of 6th

cleared before submitting the project in O-A-B-C Level?
In
A level
The project
may be started after successful completion of five papers of A level and

3) What is the rule for submitting
the project for direct candidate in O , A , B & C level?
In O level
for direct candidate
